Photographer, adventurer, and birder, Alise Baer

I am a veterinarian with a passion for nature and wild things. I love to travel both locally and afar whenever I can find the time. I have been birding for over 20 years and have traveled extensively across the world, first with the Peace Corps in my mid 20's and then for the joy of exploring new places. While I have dabbled in landscape and nature photography since college, only in the last couple years have I really started pointing my lens with purpose at my wild subjects and worked at creating meaningful photos of the world I see. I hope to share my adventures and the beauty of this world and its wild creatures with you through my art.
