I recently spent two nights in beautiful Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. My mother and I took a couple days to get away from the house and I grabbed the opportunity to practice my beach photography. Both sunrise and sunset were both fabulous and I spent the majority of the day exploring Arlie Gardens and photographing the birds there. There are still some techniques I need to work on. I look forward to taking some workshops this spring and work on my landscape photography. In the meantime I keep practicing because I'm loving exploring new areas, seeing birds and wildlife behind the lens, and learning new techniques to capture the images I want. I do feel that I'm getting better at my post-processing and learning how to edit my images to reflect what I see when I'm there.
